I am beginning my days by seeing the sun rise from my upstairs window. The frosty grass shown like glass, and the colors in the sky forecast a beautiful day. Later I listened to CD recording of a women's group, singing about the light that the dawn star brings, so in tune with John the Baptist testifying that the light is coming into the darkness, and the darkness will not overcome it. But sometimes it feels like the darkness is winning. Then I need reassurance and a hug. That came quite early today as I got a big hug from my daughter and her daughter, and then watched the Christmas pageant in which another granddaughter played a shepherd. The light was shining all around them! Come, Lord Jesus!!
