A bless-filled afternoon

Being with 2 "grands" this afternoon stops the merry-go-round for me. No more emailing; no more planning workshops or retreat; no telephoning or squeezing another meeting or engagement into my calendar. Instead, just being with these two girls who are so in the moment while we are together. After taking the older "grand" to gymnastics Miss B gave me a grand tour of the path around the lake near her house. She on her bike, well ahead of me, shouting out her observations. "See that bird house!" "Look at the squirrel!" "Here's the boathouse!" "See the sunset!" It was better than the grandest tour of the grandest sights anywhere else in the world. I felt so blessed.
